Anemometer We made an Anemometer. It measures how fast the wind is blowing. The faster the wind is blowing, the faster the cups will be spinning. The trouble is we have no wind at the moment to measure.

The Carnival

Yesterday it was the school carnival. I won a light blue dream catcher, I won it at the hook a duck. Mia helped me hook a duck.

My dreamcatcher is amazing. My dream catcher has lots and lots of feathers, the feathers are softer than silk. My dream catcher has a spirally stringed shape in the center of the two holes. It is very fluffy.

My Carnival Craft

This is my carnival craft. I made flowers out of plastic fizzy bottles. I like them because they are all different. I am going to give them to dad as a late birthday present because I didn't have a present just from me on his birthday.

Mist

Mist curls across the land in a sort of twist until you can see nothing but a fair grey glistening in the air.

Mist covers trees like tiny silver decorations.

It covers the sky like a sparkling sheet of paper glistening in the sky.

Mist feels magic.

It sparkles like fairy dust.

Mum's New Car

In the holidays my Mum got a new car. She got her new car from Christchurch. It is a Dodge Journey. My Dad went to Christchurch to pick it up. It is silver. The

new car has a dvd player on the ceiling and in the ceiling in the backseat there are fans that turn on and off.

 

It has a storage apartment in the back seat.

The School Holidays

In the school holidays I am going to Porangahau. It will take a few hours to get there. We will take my dad's car. It is a Nissan Pathfinder. I am going to see two newborn babies one is a boy and one is a girl. Their names are Colby and Molly Andersen. We will rent a beach house. We go to Porangahau every year.

Mia's Birthday

On Saturday it was Mia`s party. It was at Air Zone.There were 13 people invited. We got to play on the trampolines for a whole hour. We all got a balloon full of helium but Mia got two balloons because it was her birthday. For food we had skittles, popcorn, grapes and cake. Livvie went on the flying fox.

My Holiday

In the holidays I went to Hawke's Bay for a holiday. First we stayed at a farm and then we stayed at another farm. Then we went home.

In two years I am going to Disneyland. I also get to go to Cars Land and Neverland but I am most excited about going to Minion Island and Lego Land. I might even get to go inside the Disney castle.

Our Holiday

In the holidays I went to Hawkes Bay for a holiday. First we stayed at a farm and then we stayed at another farm. Then we went home.

My Friend Isabella

Last term my best friend Isabella came to stay. Last year Isabella moved to Taupo. We had so much fun when she finally arrived. She has three big brothers and the oldest one lives in New Plymouth. Isabella got me a chocolate bar.

Yesterday the School went to the beach. Me and Livvie made sand spas and foot holes to rest our feet in.
